Chieftain Canopies are custom designed specifically for each individual make and model of vehicle. A Chieftain ute canopy will enhance your vehicles appearance by turning your utility into a stylish and sleek unit with a custom fit and colour match that makes it look a part of the original vehicle.

Chieftain Canopies are a one piece construction, with no ugly timbers or aluminium bearers. It will not warp or soften under Australian heat conditions, or go brittle with cold or age with a constant UV exposure. These aspects of the canopy are achieved through the clever combination of Fibreglass, Kevlar re-inforcement and UV resistant marine gelcoat.

Chieftain Canopies are easy to clean and to maintain thanks to their smooth textured finish. All ute canopies produced at Chieftain Canopies are backed with an 18 month warranty. All our ute canopies are weather tested before leaving the factory and we provide complete after sales service. In some areas a mobile fitting service is available.

The Chieftain Canopy is suitable for most dual cabs, single cabs, extra cabs and falcon utes.

All our canopies are equipped with the following features:

  • Lockable Tailgate with dual handles for extra security and lift assisted with gas struts
  • Front sliding canopy window
  • Tinted canopy sliding windows with fly screens
  • Interior twin tube fluorescent light and high-level rear canopy brake light
  • All lights wired to ADR Specifications
  • Aluminium capping for tailgate of utility (except Falcon, Triton, and Navara 4x4)
  • Smooth exterior finish using a UV resistant marine gelcoat
  • Canopy construction is of a Fibreglass/Kevlar mix
  • Canopy is mounted to the utility by way of an internal flange system, which is part of the ute canopy. This system acts as a double insurance against water leakage
  • All canopies are water tested prior to dispatch
  • All windows are tinted and sealed with a closed cell foam tape to prevent water leakage

All our canopies allow the following options:

  • Gas strut lift-assisted windoors
  • Colour coded paint in you choice of a Pearl, Metallic or Solid paint finish
  • No windows (Budget Canopy)
  • canopy wiper washer kits
  • Spinner vents for cooler canopies
